It is accredited as a Type ‘A’ Inspection Body by IANZ (International Accreditation New Zealand) to ISO/IEC 17020 and Recognised by the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment under the Health and Safety in Employment Act (Pressure Equipment, Cranes and Passenger Ropeways) Regulations 1999.

Aksa employs CBIP certified and experienced Equipment Inspectors to inspect equipment for certification under the requirements of the PECPR Regulations and the Approved Codes of Practice.

Aksa operates in strict adherence to a Code of Ethics as laid down in its Quality System and all Inspectors working under the system abide by the CBIP Code of Ethics.
